I speak a lot on women loving themselves, embracing their bodies, and not being ashamed of their bodies. There is a fine line when it comes to “what’s appropriate” and what’s not in today’s society. As women, the same things we try to encourage and empower one another with are the same things that leave us feeling vulnerable, and what we are criticized for in this world.
There’s a stereotype that mothers, in particularly, should be conservative and not overly sexy. We’re frowned upon and asked, “What kind of example are you setting?,” if we dress too sexy or show too much skin.
But you know what? Forget what others have to think and say about you. I am beautiful, I am sexy, I am educated, I am a mom, I am a business woman, and I am unapologetically me.
How comfortable are you in your own skin?
