I remember the day I found out I was pregnant with you two. The doctor told me I was having twins and I just couldn’t believe it. I couldn’t wrap my brain around the fact that I was about to be not one, but two peoples mom. From that very moment I knew I was having a boy and a girl. It was just something in my spirit that told me so.
I was overwhelmed with joy, happiness, anxiousness, nervousness, and the confusion of, “How will I care for two children at one time?”
Almost exactly two years later and I’m doing it. Being y’all’s mother is one of the greatest and most precious gifts ever; with it comes so many roles and superpowers I didn’t even know I was capable or deserving of: nurturer, protector, nurse, friend, bodyguard, referee, caregiver, cuddle buddy, chef, maid, chauffeur, comforter, teacher, influencer, strength, and prayer warrior.
You each have your own little personality, but yet still possess great qualities from your father and I. As you guys continue to grow up in this crazy world, hold on to the bond and love that you have for one another, you guys are each first other’s best friend.
Jaxon, you are your sister’s keeper and Taylor, you are your brother’s keeper.
The world will try to tear you apart and remind you that you are different, but being different is ok, being different makes you that more special, being different means that you aren’t like anyone else. Always embrace your differences and use them as a positive influence in your life; never a negative one. Mommy loves you both, beyond words and this world.
